Faculty of Agriculture

The Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Maragheh, as the first unit of the institution, began its operations in 1987 under the title of Maragheh Agricultural Training School and was upgraded to a faculty in 1998. The faculty consists of six academic departments:

• Water Science and Engineering,

• Horticultural Science and Engineering,

• Soil Science and Engineering,

• Plant Production and Genetics Engineering,

• Plant Protection Engineering, and

• Biosystems Mechanical Engineering.

Currently, the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Maragheh offers two doctoral programs, eleven master's programs, and seven bachelor's programs.
